For more than a decade, Encontra Inc has been dealing with fully automated mail sorting and hybrid mail systems.
The Mail Sorting Systems consists of the following components: Pre-sorting  function flow on ASM, Bar coding on ASM of VCS off-line coded mail, Culler-Facer-Canceller system, with a sorting capacity of 36000 letters per hour, while backed up by 15 video coding stations (VCS).
The hybrid mail is an electronic mail service, designed to meet the X.400 link, recommendations, and the international set of standards regulating the interconnection of different types of message handling systems.
The service accepts mail created by any type of system: a dumb terminal or mainframe, a personal computer or a private electronic mail system. Senders can submit their mail by directly connecting to the post office, via public network.
