Unsorted municipal waste, which may contain raw garbage, paper, plastic waste and miscellaneous waste, are carbonized in an extremely short time – just 40~60 minutes. The Okadora carbonizing plant, utilizing a system of non-oxygen thermal cracking, does not produce any polluting substances; no dioxins are emitted, nor any oxide compounds, heavy metal oxides, carbon dioxide, sulfur oxides, nor nitrogen oxides. In the case of any emission of these compounds, it will only be as trace amounts.
